CLAUDE FAUCHERE

Born in Paris on April 1936,. paintings became,soon, his choice as a calling. And a means for him to get away from his family. Aged 17, he went to the College of art and Design then, completed his study at the “Ecole Nationale des Métiers d’Art” where he worked with very prestigious teachers.
Despite his interest for classic art ,he’s particularly sensitive to contemporary approach. Early on, he sold his work.At that time he exhibited at various Parisian exhibitions.His canvas entitled Saint –Jean- de- Luz was noticed and bought by the gallery Chalom in place Vendôme .Resulted various exhibitions in differents galleries all over Europe.
His quotation always progresses until today. In the 90’s ,he has been elected official painter of the navy.Although his work is based on hard work and an impeccable technique,it is his spark of genious that makes all the difference.
Claude Fauchere is a great artist,modest,humorous,full of wit,enigmatic,difficult to understand.
