Fossoux was born in Paris in 1946. After completing his studies at the Ecole des Beaux arts de Paris, he developed a deep passion for the Impressionist movement. Inspired by everyday life — the café terraces, children playing in the Jardin du Luxembourg, lunch on the grass…— his paintings seduce a cosmopolitan clientele and are highly appreciated by American and European collectors.
Fossoux conveys his love for the colors and the warm sparkling light of the South where the sun seems to shine from within the canvas.Renowned all over the world, he has exhibited in many galleries such as the Wally Findlay Galleries. His artworks are also found in many private collections
